HENNIKER, NH: Karen Margaret Rambin passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the age of 70. She was a resident of Henniker, NH where she lived with her husband of 56 years, Floyd.
Karen was born May 20, 1953 in Concord, NH, the daughter of Andrew and Rose Searah. She spent her early childhood growing up outside of Concord, NH, moving to north Brookfield, MA, when she was 5 years old, where she spent her school aged years.
Karen’s life was spent travelling throughout the United States and Great Britain with her husband Floyd, settling in several different regions throughout the years. Her adventures included the states of Virginia, California, Minnesota, Florida, New Hampshire, Maine and North Carolina and the countries, Great Britain and Ireland until finally ending up back in New Hampshire again.
During this time, she was blessed with her two children, her son, Raymond Rambin of Titusville, FL, and her daughter, Nancy Pervere, of Milford, NH. She was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild.
Karen’s passions included gardening, crafting and most of all taking care of her many pets throughout the years. Her love for pets was surpassed only by her love of her family.
Karen’s siblings included her twelve brothers and sisters. She was survived by her siblings, Constance Hollenbeck of Cape Coral, FL, Bernadette Beland of Worcester, MA, David Searah of Boscawen, NH, Lindsay Searah of North Brookfield, MA, Deborah Pyle-Searah from Woodstock, CT, Dana Searah of West Brookfield, MA, Mark Searah of New Braintree, MA, Edward Searah of Brimfield, MA, Gale Ledoux of Greenfield, TN and Frances Searah of North Brookfield, MA. She was predeceased by her brother, Norman Searah of Des Moines, IA and sister, Andrea Paladino formerly of Holden, MA.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home, 32 School St, Hillsborough, NH on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm. It will be followed by a gathering at the Rambin’s home in Henniker.
