ANTRIM, NH:  Ronald (Skipper) Doughty, age 65, passed away at his home in Antrim on February 20, 2023 after a very memorable week with his wife, family and many friends. 

Ronnie, was born October 9,1957, to Roger and Joan (Crilly) Doughty, and was raised on Long Island, in Central Islip, NY. Ronald married his beloved wife, Robin (Foster) Doughty on June 27, 2016.

Ronald was a skillful craftsman, adept at working with large machinery and as an accomplished machinist, he worked and eventually retired as a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association, Local #28.  He enjoyed his time with friends as a member of the Hillsboro Moose Lodge 1091, and the American Legion Young & Richardson Post 59. Ronnie loved God, family and country. 

In his retirement years, Ronnie enjoyed giving family, friends and especially the little ones, rides in the "rig" to the rope swing at the river where he had picnics on the big rock as a child himself. 

Ronnie is survived by his loving children, Daniel Malone (wife Lisa, children Kaitlyn, Ryan), Kristle Doughty, John Doughty (girlfriend Darcy Sullivan), and stepsons, Robert Mickle (wife Samantha, children Timmy, Jonah, Lily Anne) and Jon Mickle, loving siblings, Cynthia McCarthy, Roger (deceased, surviving wife Ellen), Bernard (wife Susan), Mark (wife Kathleen), Arlene Page (husband Morel), Robert (wife Cyndi) and aunt, Susan Crilly Vayens. He was blessed with many wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins that he loved dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 12 pm at St. John of God Roman Catholic Church, 84 Carleton Ave, Central Islip, NY 11722. A Celebration of Life will be held April 29,2023 at 3:00 pm at the Hillsboro Moose Lodge in Hillsboro, New Hampshire.
