CONTOOCOOK, NH:  Esther A. Price, 83, of Contoocook, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022, surrounded by family and loved ones. 

Esther will be dearly missed by her husband, David, of sixty-three years. Married on October  4, 1958, they were devoted partners in marriage and business. Many weekends were spent traveling from MA to NH, with travels made even better over the years as a family of four. 

NH became their home in 1982 and The Meadows of Hopkinton was built. Deer Meadow was started in 1998 and at its completion, Esther partially retired.  Her retirement was focused on David, her children and their four grandchildren. She also loved time with friends, her “Club,” trips to Concord for hair, nails, and shopping, recent girl-trips with her neighbor and afternoon boat rides with David from their home on the Contoocook River. 

Esther was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Rose Sarno, sisters, Edna Sarno Fuller and Elaine Arno-George and brother, Edward Sarno.  She is survived by her Aunt Margie; her husband, David Price, Sr., son, Dave Price, Jr. and wife, Stacey, their children, Lillian Price and David Price, daughter Pamela Price, and partner, Christopher Austin, and her daughter’s, Paige Duffy and Gabrielle Price.  She is also survived by Paige’s son, Jadiel and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
