BOW, NH: Lucia E. Lyons (Lafond) passed away on November 17, 2022, at Concord Hospital following a brief illness. 

Lucia was born the youngest of twelve children on December 17, 1929, in Francestown, NH to Nellie (Parker) and William Lafond. She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, William Lyons, daughter, Judith Shepard, son, Ronald Putnam, Sr. and all eleven of her siblings. 

Lucia lived in Hillsboro and retired from Sylvania after 25 years and she and her husband, William, settled in their home in Bow, NH. 

She loved to cook and sew for her family. 

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Cote and her husband, Wayne Cote, son, Steven Lawrence, daughter-in-law Sheila Putnam, seven grandchildren, Ronald Putnam, Jr., Lucas Putnam, Shawn Putnam, Amy Minor, Shanon Gallant, Moriah Cote and Aaron Lawrence, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

We request that all of Lucia’s loved ones and friends join us in Celebrating her Life at East Weare Cemetery in Weare, NH, for a graveside service on November 25, 2022, at 10 am.
