HENNIKER, NH:  Lawrence R. Homon, Sr., 76, of Henniker, NH passed away on December 8, 2022.  Larry passed at home, unexpectedly. 

He was born to his parents, Reginald L. Homo, and Rita (St. Louis) Homo, on December 29, 1945 in Henniker, NH.

Larry was known for his ability to fix most things, his love of all animals, deep sea fishing, making maple syrup, and his frequent trips to the swap shop.

He loved to tinker on cars to keep himself busy, most days. He had a sweet tooth, like no other, and spent many afternoons at Dunkin Donuts indulging on Boston cream donuts. The gift he is most known for, is the gift of gab.  He would talk for hours with anyone; he was a true chatty Cathy.

He was married to Kathy in September 1971, celebrating 51 years of marriage.  Larry is survived by his wife, Katheren I. (Bell) Homon, of Henniker, NH, his son, Lawrence R. Homon, Jr. of Hillsboro, NH, his daughter, Annie E. Homon, of Nashua, NH, his daughter, Amy L. Vayens of Nashua, NH, and four grandchildren, Jonathan L. Homon, Aiyana (Bean) Devol, Cameron Vayens and Tyler Vayens.  He is also survived by his brothers,  Frank Homo of Concord, NH, David Homo, Michael Homo and Andrew Homo all of Franklin, NH, Robert Homo of Laconia, NH, Richard Homo of Rochester, NH, and Raymond Homo of Laconia, NH.  Larry is predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

The funeral will be held on Friday the 16th of December, 2022 in the Holt Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 32 School St Hillsboro, NH, with viewing starting at 10: 00 am.  Service will begin at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow to the Henniker New Cemetery in Henniker NH.
