HILLSBORO, NH:  Steven D. Jones, 69, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Hospice House in Concord, NH following a lengthy illness.

Steven was born on June 13, 1952 in Peterborough, NH. He was predeceased by his father, Floyd B. Jones and mother, Joan (Howoy) Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Irina Jones, his son, Dana Jones and stepdaughters Anastasia, Assianina and Narrie Loftus, his brothers, Thomas Jones and wife, Deborah, David Jones and wife, Bonnie,  Peter Jones and wife, Lisa, his sister, Catherine Dubuque and husband, Bill, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Steven was a proud 20+ year veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as Master Sergeant with deployments to Germany, Korea and Dessert Storm.  Upon retiring from the military Steven earned a bachelors degree from Keene State College.  He served in the Border Patrol as a Safety Officer.  Eventually,

 returning to New Hampshire where he enjoyed hunting birds and deer, spending time with family and building a new home.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1 pm at his home 378 Bear Hill Road, Hillsborough, NH.  A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the service.  Everyone is welcome.
