CONTOOCOOK, NH:  Barbara Jean (Sullivan) Loughery, age 88, peacefully passed on February 23rd, 2021. 

Barbara was born September 18, 1932 in Concord, NH.  She was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion (Dwinnels) Sullivan of Contoocook, NH and was predeceased by her two brothers, Sonny Sullivan and Raymond Sullivan. 

Barbara was a lifetime resident of Contoocook, NH and graduated in 1950 from Hopkinton High School. 

Barbara enjoyed knitting, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family. 

Barbara is survived by her son, Edward Loughery and his companion Shirley Allen of Contoocook, daughter, Karen (Loughery) DeFelice and her husband, Al DeFelice of Pittsburg, NH, daughter, Dawn (Loughery) Symonds and her husband Gary Symonds of Sneads Ferry, NC, granddaughter, Krystal (Loughery) Gallant and great-grandson, Nolan Gallant of Contoocook, NH, three grandsons, Jeremy Loughery of Andover, NH, Craig Symonds of Pawtucket, RI and Adam Symonds and his wife Kelly (Yoder) Symonds and her great-grandson, Ryder Symonds of Orem, Utah. 

There will be no calling hours, however a private burial with her family at the Contoocook Village Cemetery, will take place in the Spring.
