ANTRIM, NH: Raymond B. Grimard, 89, resident of Antrim, NH, died at his home on April 6, 2019. 

He was born on August 20, 1929 in Cascade, NH, a son of the late Joseph and Vitaline (Rabideau) Grimard. 

He was raised and educated in the Whitefield, Berlin area and that is where he met his wife, Barbara. He worked for his whole life in the building and construction trade.  Ray was a hard worker and always put his family first and would always be willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. 

Ray and Barbara moved around a lot, traveling from the North Country down to Merrimack, Nashua and finally settling in their perfect water front home in Antrim where they have been for the last thirty years.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening spending time outdoors. 

Ray was a true family man and will be missed by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Grimard of Antrim, sons and daughters-in-laws:  Bernard and Susan of Lyndeborough, NH and Richard and Suzanne of Manchester, NH;  a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Nelson Carrier of Milford, NH; a nephew, Melvin Grimard of Danvers, MA, a brother, Robert Grimard of Whitefield, NH, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces nephews and cousins.

In accordance with his wishes there will be no calling hours held.  A graveside service will be held on May 11, 2019 at 11:30 am in the Harvey Memorial Cemetery, Hillsboro, NH with a light luncheon to follow at St. Mary’s Church.
