PEMBROKE, NH: Leni Lee Buttrick, 77, of Pembroke, died Thursday, April 11, 2018, at Bedford Hills Center in Pembroke with her family by her side.
Leni was born October 6, 1941, in Needham, MA, to the late Pauline (Dyment) and Lido Baldelli. Leni graduated from Needham high school in 1959. Leni married her late husband, David Allen Buttrick, of Pembroke, in Needham, MA, on February 14, 1964.
Survived by one daughter, Melanie Lord; one son, Bradford Buttrick; long-time caregiver and brother, Glen Baldelli; sister, Lauren Carney; sister, Kim Simard; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and granddaughters.
Leni, above all, dedicated her life to others. The oldest of four, Leni took care of her brother and two sisters growing up. She adopted two children
and dedicated her life to caring for them and her husband. She worked with special needs children and supported underprivileged children in her neighborhood. Leni provided support and knowledge to people afflicted with Multiple Myeloma.
She was a devoted wife, mother and Christian. Her strong beliefs, dedication to God and unwavering support from the church helped Leni through difficult times.
Leni loved to paint and cook. She was an animal lover and provided many dogs and cats a wonderful home and life. Leni never stopped providing support to all and never stopped giving of herself.
Services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 10 am in Suncook at Suncook United Methodist Church
Burial will be 10 am in Evans Cemetery, Bow, NH on Saturday, May 11th, 2019.
The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
