DEERING, NH:  Kenneth R. Macgown, 85, of Deering, NH died October 19, 2018 at Epsom Health Care Center in Epson, NH. 

Kenneth was born in Berlin, NH on April 11, 1933 to the late Kenneth and Myrtie (Smith) Macgown. 

He worked at several saw mills including, Herrick in Contoocook, NH before retirement from Market Basket in Concord, NH. 

Ken was a member of the Independent Order of Odds Fellows, White Mountain Lodge # 5 in Concord, NH and The Center Point Church in Concord. 

Survived by his wife, Marilyn Alice (Dane) Macgown of Deering, NH, a daughter, Mary Beth Holmes of Springfield MO, sister-in-law, Beverly Macgown of Concord, NH, seven nieces and nephews and two grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 7, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of the NH Veterans Cemetery Boscawen, NH.
