HILLSBORO, NH:  Alice E. Wheeler, 73, passed away at Presidential Oaks on February 1, 2018. 

Alice was born on May 17, 1944 in Henniker, NH. She is predeceased by her mother, Josephine Butler, her stepfather, Tom Butler, her sister Lori Wheeler and her brother Buzzy Wheeler. 

Alice worked at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA for several years. She then worked many years at Osram Sylvania in Hillsboro, NH. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hillsboro, NH, and graduated from Hillsboro-Deering High School in 1962. 

A special thanks you to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association and the staff of Presidential Oaks in Concord, NH. 

She was survived by her sister, Joyce Bumford, of Hillsboro, NH, two brothers, Thomas Butler of Hillsboro, NH and John Butler of Concord, NH, also by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Alice loved her family and really enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews throughout the years.

A memorial to celebrate Alice’s life will be held Tuesday Feb 13, 2018 at 1 pm in the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service 32 School St Hillsboro, NH.
