HILLSBORO, NH: Kathleen Blood rested in the arms of her Savior Jesus in the early morning hours of January 31, 2017. She lived her entire life in Hillsborough and was very proud of being a native New Hampshire.
Kathleen worked for many local businesses through the years including Hillsborough House, Country Craftsman, Franklin Pierce Homestead and she retired from Norton Co. She had many good friends throughout the community. Kathleen was an active member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church. She loved her church and church family. She enjoyed baking and gardening. She loved to knit and crochet and studied her Bible faithfully.
She was the daughter of Ethel Mae Davis and John Powell. Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Maureen A. Leduc, with whom she shared her home, and Susan. F. Holdner, of Paxton, MA. She is also survived by her older sister Monna Wright of Florida as well as her step-granddaughter Deborah J. Andrews of Webster, NH.
Services with be held Sunday, February 5th at the United Methodist Church of Hillsboro, 16 Henniker St, Hillsboro, NH at 2:00 PM, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to come and share in the celebration of her life.
