Joan M (Schacht) Hardy

HENNIKER, NH:  Joan Marion (Schacht) Hardy 85, of Henniker, NH died November 21, 2016 at Harris Hill Health Care Center in Concord, NH.

She was born October 16, 1931 in Henniker, NH to the late Otto & Marjorie (Carnes) Schacht.

Joan worked in the Accounting Department for the Odds Fellows Home in Concord, NH for many years before her retirement.

She loved cats, going to the casinos, wintering in Florida, and most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughters.

Survived by her husband, Francis A. Hardy, Jr., of Franklin NH, two sons, Michael Hardy and wife Charlene from Henniker, NH, and Timothy Hardy from Hillsboro, NH; three granddaughters, Angelica Gariepy from Hillsboro NH, Brittany Hardy from Henniker, NH and Trisha Hardy from Hillsboro, NH; and, two great-grandchildren Ariana and Christopher.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday November 30, 2016 at 11 am in the Henniker, New Cemetery in Henniker, NH.
