HILLSBORO, NH:  Meghan McKenzie Spears, 17, daughter, friend, granddaughter, artist, and animal lover, died suddenly on August 31^st, 2016 at her home in Hillsborough, NH.

She was born September 24^th 1998, in Kingsport TN, to   Shawn D. And Carla F. (Brummitt) Spears. Meghan had been living for several years with her best friend, Grace Oliveira, of Hillsboro, and her family, who loved her dearly.

Meghan was a student at Hillsboro-Deering High School.

Meghan was a very talented artist, whose favorite drawing subjects were wolves and dogs. She had a special love of canines, was a wonderful owner to her beloved huskies Salem and Felix, and also enjoyed bikejoring and dogsledding. Meghan was a bright, gifted, and very empathetic young lady.

Public calling hours will be Saturday September 10, from 5-8 pm at Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 32 School Street, in Hillsboro, NH.

There will be a private service at a later date.
